Tomorrow 2/23 trail will be closed for the entire day

This weekend the trail will be open to use and should be excellent sledding.

Trail update: Trail will be closed from 12-5 today for trail preservation. It will be fast this afternoon once the temperature starts to drop again.

What an incredible day!! 🛷🏆

We had 47 adults, 11 juniors, 7 junior juniors, close to 200 spectators throughout the day, and media coverage.

The title of The Fastest Runner Sledder in all The Land goes to Brian Trahan, in a tough battle to the very end against Kerry Merrifield, who took runner up. And taking 3rd this year, all the way from Connecticut, we have Chris Johnstone.

The title of The Junior Fastest Runner Sledder in all The Land goes to Elijah Dayan in an intense race against his younger brother Bubba Dayan, taking runner up, while 3rd place goes to Whit Martin.

The title of The Junior Junior Fastest Runner Sledder in all The Land goes to Josephine Trahan, fending off her younger sister Emmaline Trahan, who took runner up. In 3rd place we had newcomer Ismar Rebmann.

Sledding on the Montville track is wide open so come one come all!

Come on over and race, spectate, gaze, stare in utter amazement, jump on a sled, talk about the good ol’ days, you just don’t wanna miss this good ol’ fashioned fun folks!

Important reminder: Registration starts at 8:00 am racing starts at 9:00 am!

Trail update:

95% of the trail is icy and fast. As most of you can imagine, the beginning drop took a beating this weekend. Anyone willing can swing by and help us shovel snow onto the beginning of the trail so we can get that packed in.
